May 16 and 17 (noon-6pm) at the Soulard Art Market, JKPublishing and Landlocked Media are presenting The Bizarre Bazaar in order to raise money for the Saint Louis Slam poetry team so they can go to national competition this year.

This is event will be a bizarre bazaar: a flea market where local artists will be selling their wares and ephemera, a silent auction for some certainly one-of-a-kind items in addition to a variety of entertaining acts from fire-dancers to poets and musicians and even circle of drumming.

All proceeds from this event will go to the Saint Louis Slam poetry team to help defray the costs of participating in the National Slam Poetry competition being held in Florida.

So come out and support Saint Louis's wonderfully talented artists and performers.
